SEULEMENT is the solo project of Mathieu Arsenault, a Montreal-based electronic musician. His music questions the role of the voice and the human body in the digital arts. By transforming fragments of his own voice, SEULEMENT creates angular structures where the natural and the artificial are intertwined. His debut album EX PO (released on Montreal label Mothland in 2021) is positioned at the unlikely intersection of experimental electronic music and song. With an approach that is more sculptural than narrative, SEULEMENT takes a modern look at the possibilities of the voice in electronic music, and proposes an approach that straddles the line between lyricism and structuralism.

Using a combination of DIY machines, effects and synthesizers, Fumerolles offers a benevolent and organic electronic music, formed by the meeting of ambient soundscapes and sweet melodies influenced by new age and video game soundtracks.
