The Guido Molinari Foundation has invited multidisciplinary artist Jean-Pierre Gauthier to create on site new mechanical systems which relate to Molinari’s studio and works, with a view to generating images and sounds which offer novel perspectives on the painter’s development.
On this occasion, Gauthier worked with two emerging practitioners of media arts, Pascal Audet and Emmanuel Lagrange Paquet, who have previously been involved in the artist’s research.
This project is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
