Sophie Lanct\u00f4t, Mallarm\u00e9, Molinari: CROSSWORDS<\/a><\/em> curator Monic Robillard<\/strong> extended the invitation to author Catherine Mavrikakis<\/strong>, who, like herself, is no stranger to Mallarm\u00e9’s poetry. Together, they propose an exchange around the Mallarm\u00e9an legacy, which remains very much alive in today’s literary and artistic issues. Not to be missed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catherine Mavrikakis<\/strong> is a writer who teaches literature and research\/creation at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al’s D\u00e9partement des litt\u00e9ratures de langue fran\u00e7aise. She is the author of Deuils cannibales et m\u00e9lancoliques<\/em>, L’Annexe,<\/em> Les Derniers jours de Smokey Nelson<\/em>, Le Ciel de Bay City<\/em> and L’absente de tous bouquets<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monic Robillard<\/strong>, Ph. D., has published two books, Le d\u00e9sir de la vierge. H\u00e9rodiade chez Mallarm\u00e9<\/em> and Sous la plume de l’ange. De Balzac \u00e0 Val\u00e9ry<\/em>, which focus on representations of creation. In 2005, she took part in the colloquium “Mallarm\u00e9, le livre”, on the work of Klaus Scher\u00fcbel, at the Mus\u00e9e d’art contemporain de Montr\u00e9al.
