The Vendu–Sold benefit auction raises funds to support Les éditions Esse in its dissemination of contemporary art. The event offers collectors the opportunity to acquire works by well-known Canadian artists, while contributing to the vitality of Esse magazine. Part of the proceeds also go to the participating artists.
Now known as an essential event on the contemporary-art calendar, Vendu–Sold has provided an opportunity for many art lovers to explore a new passion for collecting, and for others to enhance their collections. Through their acquisitions they have reconfirmed their invaluable commitment to supporting artists and enabling Esse to continue its efforts to promote contemporary art.
The 17th edition of Vendu–Sold will take place from September 8th to 20th, 2026, on the website of BYDealers Auction House. The Guido Molinari Foundation will present simultaneously an exhibition bringing together the 44 artworks on auction.
Visit the online ticket office to attend one of the events taking place during the exhibition:
- Vendu–Sold Backstage, on September 8th at 5 pm
- The VIP opening, on September 8th at 6:30 pm
- The last weekend brunch, on September 19th at 11 am.
