Plant-based watercolour making workshop

As part of the Journées de la culture 2026
Saturday September 26th, 2026, 2 pm
Upon reservation – Places are limited

Join our guest artist, Clara-Jane Rioux Fiset, to discover natural pigments and how they are transformed into watercolour paint using plants from Molinari’s Jardin des couleurs.

Since 2025, the Foundation has been creating a garden of dye plants for the summer season to be used for exhibition signage and for educational and mediation activities.

Through various explorations and demonstrations, participants will discover how to transform plant resources into pigments and paint, while becoming familiar with different plants from our garden and those that can be harvested in various urban and natural environments. Each participant will leave with a small watercolour block made from pigments derived from marigolds in the Jardin des couleurs.

Reservations are required via the registration link. Hurry, spots are very limited!
