June 13th – October 4th, 2026.
Presented in collaboration with Culture et patrimoine Deschambault-Grondines, the Chromatopia project is the result of research on colour conducted by the artist duo Jean-Maxime Dufresne and Virginie Laganière at the Guido Molinari Foundation in the winter of 2025. Through installation, photography, video, and sound, the exhibition explores the psychological, cultural, neurological, social, biological, and political dimensions of colour, viewed through the lens of artistic creation and interdisciplinary approaches. You’ll also find an experimental light installation featuring one of the works from the Foundation’s collection.
On Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at 2 pm, a guided tour and discussion with the artists will take place. Discover the behind-the-scenes story of Chromatopia’s creation by touring the exhibition with artists Jean-Maxime Dufresne and Virginie Laganière, who will be on site all afternoon to discuss with visitors. This free event requires registration.
